- Learning disabilities.
- ADHD.
- Physical disabilities.
- Sensory or communication difficulties.
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing needs.
- Difficulties with daily living activities.

- Additional support needs affecting community participation.
Each enquiry is considered individually to determine whether the child’s needs can be safely and appropriately met.
Working in Partnership With Parents and Carers
Parents and carers know their children best.
We value their knowledge, experiences and involvement in planning support.
We take time to understand the child’s routines, likes and dislikes, communication methods, sensory needs, interests and personal goals.
We also recognise the importance of listening directly to children and young people and involving them in decisions in ways appropriate to their age and understanding.
Safeguarding and Safe Support
The safety and wellbeing of children and young people are central to our service.
Our arrangements include safeguarding procedures, safer recruitment, staff training, individual risk assessments, appropriate supervision and clear reporting and escalation processes.
Support plans consider the child’s communication needs, environmental risks, behaviour support requirements and the level of staffing necessary to provide safe support.
Where appropriate, we work alongside social workers, healthcare professionals, education teams and other involved professionals.
CQC-Regulated Home and Community Care
Dritewyse Care and Support Ltd provides domiciliary and community-based support, including regulated Personal Care where applicable.
We do not operate children’s residential homes or Ofsted-regulated supported accommodation.
Our children’s services focus on supporting children and young people within their own homes, family environments and communities.
How to Access Our Service
We welcome enquiries from parents, carers, social workers, children’s commissioning teams, brokerage services and other professionals.
Our process begins with an initial discussion, followed by an individual assessment and development of an appropriate support plan.
Support is arranged according to the child’s assessed needs, family preferences, safeguarding considerations and staffing requirements.
