At DWCS, we believe that everyone deserves to be treated as an individual and that’s why we have adopted a person-centred planning model, creating a personalised bespoke support package for everyone.

Some of our service users with disabilities or enduring mental health condition have experienced life in institution, in some cases for very long period and we understand how important it is for service users to be independent in the community, interacting with others and taking part in fun, interesting and stimulating activities. As a result, our aim is to provide the right level of support to enhance engagement and liberty so as to prevent re-entry into locked facilities or re-admission to hospital.

Our person-centred practice allows us to agree on individual goals, promote independence and help our users to achieve what they want out of life.

Our services are wide-ranging and cover everything from teaching new skills for independent living and supporting with domiciliary care to helping individuals make new friends and find work which is fulfilling.
